What We Need To Get Started:
Please read through the questionnaire above. It lists everything we need to get your design order done right. Fill in all of the blanks (Yes! We do mean all of them.) and we'll take care of the rest!
Upload Your Images to Us: You will be able to upload your images to us once you have placed your order. In your description please let us know which image is the main image to be used and which others are just used as filler to be used at our discretion.
Note: Please send us the biggest version (highest resolution) of the pictures and logos that you would like us to use in your cover design. Bigger pictures will be easier to crop and work into your cover design. They also print better and fit better with the hi-res graphics that our designers will use to create the background of your new cover. Note: If your images are not large enough we will not be able to use them as part of your design. A note will be sent to you letting you know that new (larger) images are required to create your design. We will not begin work on your design until larger images are provided or until you give us authorization to use our own creative freedom to come up with your design.
If you don't have a theme in mind just let us know and we'll have the designers come up with something for you. They are very creative, as you can see from the cover designs that are featured on our website, and always come up with excellent ideas.
Graphic Design Terms of Service: Our ability to create the vision of our clients is met with a 99% accuracy rating on the first try. Below is an outline of Wave Werks standard terms and conditions for our graphic design services. Please take time to read through thoroughly and ensure you understand these terms and conditions prior to placing a graphic design order with Wave Werks. Wave Werks reserves the right, at any time, to modify and discontinue, either temporarily or permanently, our graphic design policy, or any part thereof, with or without notice. Your purchase of Wave Werks graphic design services shows your understanding, acknowledgement, and agreement with the Wave Werks graphic design policy. Client Responsibility. – Client must submit a document containing the required text for the graphic design. Client must submit a description of their vision, including photos, logos, required colors, “theme”, text, etc. The more detailed the description is, the better chance that the product can be designed right the first time, and skip a multiple revision process. Client may submit sketches or mockups of design ideas, or attach samples of material they have seen and like the style of. Don’t have an idea in mind, not to worry, the designers at Wave Werks have a combined 40+ years of experience in graphic design, and can create material based on general text descriptions submitted. Payment. – The total graphic design fee is required to be paid in full before the graphic design job is started. No refunds are given once graphic design on the project begins. No exceptions! Redesign/Revisions. – For redesigns, an additional fee must be paid. Original graphic design proof is created from the design description per the Client, unless the Client waives their creative responsibility. On all graphic material designed by Wave Werks, you are allowed up to 3 revisions on the original graphic design proof. After 3 revisions, an additional fee will be applied to your account, each time the project is re-opened for redesign. Design Proof. – Wave Werks will provide a low-resolution JPG proof of graphic design to Client. Client is only allowed to view proof and may not use the proof for any other circumstance. Once a final composition is agreed upon, Wave Werks will issue a high resolution version for print of the material along with another low grade image, compatible with online promotions. Approval of Final Artwork. – The Client is required to proofread and approve the proof before the final production of graphic design or artwork. Though we work hard to avoid errors, Wave Werks accepts no responsibility for typographical errors, spelling mistakes, or incorrect information on any project approved by a client. No revisions will be made after a final approval has been given by the Client. Copyright. – Until final approval is received, Wave Werks retains ownership of all graphic design artwork. Wave Werks reserves the rights to certain elements used to create the Client’s image(s) including fonts, patterns, stock images, textures, color palettes and other non-exclusive items. Wave Werks reserves the right to use stock images in the creation of designs if required. This cost is included in invoice supplied to the Client.
